Acidic Limescale-Removing 2-in-1 Shampoo
Descale Foam Shampoo Maniac Line is an acidic, limescale-removing, 2-in-1 shampoo designed to eliminate limescale contaminations that dull the car’s bodywork.
The term “limescale remover” refers to the product’s ability to dissolve and remove mineral deposits like limescale from the surface of the car.
This restores the original shine of the paint and maintains the effectiveness of previously applied sealants and nanotechnological coatings.
Descale Foam Shampoo is a great ally for eliminating mineral deposits that can form after a sandy rain or for removing stains left behind after snowfall.
It can also be applied to remove annoying stains caused by improper washing or drying processes.
Specifically designed to remove limescale and mineral contaminations, this shampoo works effectively by eliminating deposits that can dull the paint and reduce the effectiveness of protective coatings. Its chemical action breaks down the bonds of mineral deposits, allowing them to be easily removed with a simple wash.
It is ideal for removing heavy dirt and also for rejuvenating plastics and chrome, giving your car an impeccable appearance.
Perfect for those living in areas with hard, mineral-rich water, this anti-limescale car shampoo is ideal for both maintenance washes and as a preparatory treatment for the bodywork during the mechanical decontamination phase, before polishing or applying waxes and coatings. With Descale Foam Shampoo, the bodywork will regain its original shine thanks to the deep decontamination action of its acidic pH, also ensuring a longer-lasting protective treatment.
Thanks to its formula that produces a thick foam, Descale Foam Shampoo offers high lubrication, ensuring a safe and gentle wash with the “Pillow Foam” technique (foam cushion), which reduces the risk of scratches and abrasions on the paint when used together with a microfiber glove.
Descale Foam Shampoo can be used with either a foam gun or manual sprayer such as our Nebula Foam 2.0.
For stubborn dirt, dilute 1:5; for normal dirt, dilute 1:10.
dilute 1 cap of product in 1 liter of water, then use the orange nozzle.
Dilute 3 to 5 caps of product in 5 liters of water in the “Wash” bucket, depending on the level of contamination.
Dilute Descale Foam Shampoo 1:10 (1 part product to 10 parts water).
In case of a very dirty car, use an alkaline pre-wash with Foam Gun Prewash to remove coarse dirt. Allow the prewash to work and rinse with high-pressure water from top to bottom
Cover the surface of the car with abundant foam. This will act as a “cushion,” minimizing the risk of accidental scratches on the bodywork during the use of the microfiber glove.
Without rinsing the foam, dilute 3 to 5 caps of product in 5 liters of water in the “Wash” bucket, depending on the level of contamination, and proceed with a regular car wash using the Double Face microfiber glove or a microfiber pad like our Comfort Car Wash Pad
Rinse thoroughly with clean water and dry with the ultra-absorbent microfiber towel, such as our Super Dryer.
Add 1-2 caps of shampoo to the Wash bucket to increase lubrication or add 3 caps of product to remove stains caused by sandy rain.
For maintenance washing, alternate the use of Descale Foam Shampoo with a neutral shampoo like Neutral Foam Shampoo.
During bodywork preparation for polishing or applying waxes, sealants, and protectants, Descale Foam Shampoo can be used after decontaminating the car with Iron Remover for the subsequent mechanical decontamination phase.
Dilute Descale Foam Shampoo 1:10 (1 part product to 10 parts water) in the graduated bottle.
For wheel maintenance, after a deep cleaning with Wheel & Tyre Cleaner, spray diluted Descale Foam Shampoo, let it sit for a few seconds, and rinse thoroughly.
Use a soft-bristle brush to reach hard-to-clean areas such as wheel parts, plastics, and chrome.
On the lower parts of the bodywork, where more intense limescale stains are present, always spray the product diluted 1:10, let it sit for a few seconds, and proceed with the Pillow Foam technique for a complete wash.
In the presence of limescale on the car, we recommend proceeding as soon as possible with its removal using our Descale Foam Shampoo. In fact, if not removed promptly, limescale tends to build up on the bodywork. Once it builds up, it becomes more difficult to remove and may cause permanent damage by penetrating the paint, often making polishing necessary to restore the car’s shine. To avoid these complications, we recommend treating the car with Descale Foam Shampoo as soon as possible for a quick and easy removal of limescale.
Use the product in the shade and never on hot surfaces.
Always pre-wash with Neutral Foam Shampoo on normal dirt or Foam Gun PreWash on stubborn dirt.
The main difference between Descale Foam Shampoo and Black & Wrap Shampoo lies in their specific function. Descale Foam Shampoo is an anti-limescale and decontaminating product, ideal for removing limescale deposits that can dull the bodywork. It’s perfect for those who want to maintain the shine of the paint.
On the other hand, Black & Wrap Shampoo is formulated for matte paints or protective film (PPF). It is a degreasing shampoo with decontaminating action, ideal for these surfaces that tend to absorb more dirt, requiring a cleaner that thoroughly cleans without damaging the delicate coating.
