FEATURES
There are different types of contamination, which can generally be defined as anything that cannot be removed with a normal cleaner. Often, contamination is not visible at first glance. However, it can be found on wheels, bodywork, and even on the car’s glass.
How can we identify them?
On the WHEELS, ferrous contamination is easy to spot: for example, after cleaning with a specific product, if dirt remains stuck between the spokes and on the rim channel, along with black or dark brown spots, this should be considered contamination.
On the BODYWORK, if the contamination is deep, the car’s paint will look dull and, in the case of white cars, even after washing you’ll still notice small dark brown spots.
If, after washing your car, you don’t see any dark spots, the contamination may not be visible, but here’s a simple test: get some disposable gloves, like the ones used at gas stations or supermarkets. Put them on and gently “caress” the bodywork—you’ll easily feel a rough surface to the touch: that’s contamination!
Maniac Line™ Iron Remover eliminates iron oxide contamination, such as stubborn brake dust and iron particles created by friction on train or tram tracks, as well as industrial, road, or construction site pollution.
Our advice is to use Iron Remover whenever the bodywork feels dull or rough to the touch, or when dark spots or stains remain on the wheels even after washing.
For best results, a detailing brush or wheel brush will be useful, depending on the surface to be treated.

DECONTAMINATION OF WHEELS
As a maintenance procedure, perform a decontamination every three washes, using the product diluted at a 1:1 ratio (one part product to one part water). Apply the undiluted product directly onto the wheels and let it act for about 3–4 minutes, making sure it does not dry on the surface.
The innovative formula contains a marker agent that reacts with ferrous contaminant particles, dissolving them. During the process, the product changes color to purple, indicating both the dissolution of iron particles and a deep degreasing action. Special attention has been given to masking the sulfur odor, making it more pleasant to use.
Use a soft-bristle brush to ensure thorough cleaning, even in hard-to-reach areas such as between spokes and tight crevices. Rinse the wheels thoroughly with water and dry with a microfiber cloth.
Its pH-neutral, acid-free formula ensures safety and effectiveness, even on the most delicate surfaces. It can be used on steel, aluminum, alloy, painted, chrome, or polished wheels without risk.
Iron Remover combines outstanding cleaning power with decontaminating action, offering a 2-in-1 solution to both clean and effectively decontaminate.
DECONTAMINAZIONE DELLA CARROZZERIA
After washing and drying the car, and always working in the shade on a cool surface, apply the undiluted product evenly, keeping a distance of about 40 cm from the surface. Let it sit for 3–5 minutes and watch it work, dissolving impurities and deeply purifying the surface.
A thorough rinse will reveal bodywork that looks like new—smooth to the touch, glossy, and with vibrant colors.
Decontamination is also essential as preparation for applying a protective treatment, improving its adhesion.
Avoid using on unpainted or unprotected metals, and do not apply on motorcycles.

Decontamination of Wheels
Always make sure to use the product in the shade and never on a hot surface. Let it sit for a few minutes—the active tracer will help you see the product at work: when it shifts from colorless to dark purple, it’s time to rinse thoroughly with a strong jet of water.
We have worked to reduce the typical pungent sulfur odor produced by the product’s chemical action, but use it in an open or well-ventilated area. Do not use it on unpainted brake calipers: the active ingredient reacts with iron, and cast-iron brake calipers are indeed an iron–steel alloy. If they do turn black, rinse them immediately—nothing that a polish can’t fix.
The product has a balanced pH, and due to its characteristic odor, we recommend using it in open, well-ventilated spaces. We advise not diluting the product beyond 1:1 (1 part product to 1 part water).
Do not use on unprotected or unpainted metals.
Do not use on motorcycles.
